Quality of Care Network

In 2019, Avalon/CSF partnered with the Network for Improving Quality of Care for Maternal, Newborn and Child Health, of WHO, to provide the 11 member countries a website to access best practice resource ensuring that every pregnant woman, newborn and child receives good quality care in health services.

The key objectives of this website are to be a knowledge sharing space, providing strong learning to member states, ensuring they have access to data, latest information to be able to work as a network.

With access to a vast knowledge library, RMNCH webinars, news and events, the Quality of Care Network website provides the partner countries with access to global and regional resources and best practices.

This website is a knowledge management and sharing space, providing stakeholders and network with a host of information. The knowledge library classifies the wealth of resources through a mechanism of taxonomy, pertinent to the work of the network and through intuitive filters the documents can be very easily be searched and downloaded. Furthermore, the Community of Practice space brings the members and practitioners together around key topics for thought sharing and document exchange.

The harmonisation of information has been diligently followed through the design of this website. Each country has its own country profile and the information has been developed consistently via a template.

This website is a comprehensive knowledge sharing and learning hub.
