CSF/Avalon partnered with Out4Undergrad (O4U), non-profit organization dedicated to helping high-achieving LGBTQ2+ undergraduates reach their full potential, in the implementation of DFA Monitoring to help with their strategic planning processes and improve understanding of the status of organizational goals, leading indicators and interim goals. This in turn led to higher accountability and transparency in organizational processes.
Avalon configured the strategic framework of O4U on DFA Monitoring and trained the team on how to report on the key indicators. We consequently designed and developed a monitoring dashboard for the organization for an ease of monitoring the key performance indicators as well as the performance of the strategic goals.
One key highlight of the monitoring dashboard is the interactive map that helps to depict the demographic breakdown of O4U’s participants. This allows the organization to diversify the geographic participation of students in their conferences. The other visualizations on the dashboard highlight the progress made to date, their student demographics, and their total student count.
This implementation of DFA Monitoring once again showcases the importance of a results management system at an organization level to help improve efficiency in operations.
