Since 2006, Avalon/Community Systems Foundation (CSF) has provided support to the INSTAT team from the National Statistics Office (NSO) Mali to adopt and use DevInfo and later the Data4All (DFA) Toolkit within the Malikunnafoni Database, one of the largest and prominent data-repository system in Africa.
In November 2022,Avalon/CSF conducted a capacity-building workshop for the INSTAT team to further understand various tools within DFA and how they can be utilized to improve data management and reporting. CSF team provided training on how to leverage DFA Visualizer, develop and maintain dashboards using DFA Dashboard, and manage databases through DFA Data Manager.
The training enabled the team to query the database with almost no learning curve and accelerate data dissemination, which can promote and bolster evidence-based decision making in the country.
