With a continued partnership with UNFPA ESARO, Avalon and Community Systems Foundation have designed and developed a reporting and monitoring tool to closely monitor two key regional programmes: SYP and 2gether4 SRHR. The DFA Monitoring tool was customized and configured to support the needs of the program.
While the M&E plans of both programmes were set up for the countries of the region, Avalon/CSF also implemented a series of features for the country data to get aggregated to the regional level. Moreover, a suite of reports was also designed along with an interactive monitoring dashboard to support the country and regional teams to closely monitor the performance of their programmes. One of the major advantages of this monitoring platform was a decentralized data reporting and the data getting aggregated at the regional level.
Avalon has ensured the sustainability of the platform by providing support and maintenance services, capacity building sessions, and a service desk to address technical issues to the platform.
