Avalon, with the support of the UNDP and WFP, assisted the government of Malawi in strengthening the M&E processes by implementing an online platform for the NDP in addition to setting up SDG and humanitarian data warehouses. They utilized DFA Monitoring to monitor national priorities and SDG indicators.
The development of a planning, monitoring and reporting platform for national priorities allowed the government to have data driven decision making for national policies. This online data query tool provided efficient access to indicator details. The SDG and Humanitarian database is accessible through DFA Visualizer, which provides queries and tools to create data reports, tables, maps, and graphs.
The government of Malawi uses DFA Monitoring for collaborative reporting on the national development plan, resulting in an effective monitoring of national priorities.
